Frequently asked questions to Ramos Cerâmica
shipping, exchanges and returns
Ramos Cerãmica is a small brand and does not have any other space besides the studio. This is where all the pieces are created, produced, baked and prepared for shipping.
It is possible to pick up any order at the studio, just choose this option when purchasing through the website or send an email to hello@ramosceramica.com
Orders will be picked up after scheduling a day and time.
Ramos Cerâmica accepts the return/exchange of pieces that are in perfect condition, within a maximum period of 14 days after receipt of the order.
To proceed with the return/exchange, you must contact us via email at hello@ramosceramica.com , where you must specify the order number and the items to be returned/exchanged.
Damaged and/or broken items, for which the brand is not responsible, will not be accepted for return.
Items must be returned in their original packaging, together with the cards and bouquets received. This shipment should only be made after confirmation of the return given by Ramos Cerâmica . The return must be made by the brand's partner carrier and the shipping cost is the customer's responsibility.
It is also possible to return the item to our atelier in Lisbon, by prior arrangement via email at hello@ramosceramica.com .
We always take great care when wrapping each item, avoiding the use of any plastic as much as possible. We work with partners who handle orders with care and attention.
It is very rare but pieces can break during the journey to the new home. If this happens, please send an email to hello@ramosceramica.com explaining what happened.
All materials used in packaging and shipping the pieces are produced in Portugal and are ecological, recyclable and plastic-free.
A cardboard box of the ideal size is used for each order. The pieces are wrapped in paper, cardboard, paper tape and raffia. A card with the brand information and a bouquet of dried flowers are sent, which we invite you to use and display on the pieces you have purchased.
use of parts
All ceramic pieces, including those purchased in large stores, benefit from hand washing and will last longer looking beautiful if they are treated with care.
Despite this (and because we know that this is not always possible) Ramos Cerâmica pieces have been tested with washing machines and they are still perfect and functional. We recommend paying special attention to the humidity level of the machine. The ideal is to remove the pieces as soon as the wash cycle is finished and always try to ensure that they are completely dry before storing them away.
Most pieces can be placed in the microwave.
Ramos Cerâmica pieces are made from high-quality clay and fired at a high temperature (around 1230ºC). For this reason, boiling water, which can reach around 100ºC, will not damage the piece.
However, we advise caution if you have stored the item in the refrigerator or freezer and then place it in contact with boiling water.
Not all decorative pieces can be in contact with water. Always read the "care instructions" for each piece or contact us at hello@ramosceramica.com for any further information.
gift card and voucher
You must send an email to hello@ramosceramica.com and specify which of the workshops you wish to offer (see options here ) and the name and contact details of the workshop participant.
Gift cards must be used within 12 months of purchase on the Ramos Cerâmica website or in the studio. They can only be used for purchases of equal or greater value than the gift card and cannot be accumulated.
The voucher can be used on any available workshop date corresponding to the voucher purchased. To do so, please contact hello@ramosceramica.com and request information about upcoming dates or book your place directly on a date already available.
payment methods
The website's payment methods are credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
If you feel more comfortable with this payment method, you should contact us by email at hello@ramosceramica.com and ask to visit the studio, where you can make your purchase. Please let us know in advance that you wish to pay in cash, as the studio is not a store and is not usually prepared to accept this form of payment.
